His last film was a blockbuster Happy New Year and this will also a decent gainer but again this is a solo release of Abhshek Bacchan and his solo film record is not as good as his multiple star film but then if the people will admire this film, then definitely it will be a big gainer of the year. Drishyam weekend box office collections: it picks up slowly [28 crore]

drishyam_bollywood_collection_predictionAjay Devgn and Tabbu starrer ‘Drishyam’ has a decent weekend collections. The film has collected around 28 crore(estimated) net at the Indian box office in three days. The suspense drama, directed by Nishikant kamat had an average day one as the film collected 8.05 crore including paid previews. It was not as expected figures from an Ajay Devgn starer but still it is fighting from Salman Khan Blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which is still doing wonders in its third weekend.

Although ‘Drishyam’ picked up on day two with a collection of 9.40 crore, so the two days net collections in India is 17.45 crore which is good but not as expected. The earlier trends and the mouth publicity of the film is telling that the Sunday collections of the film would be highest than the two days i.e. more than 10 crore. As a result, around 28 crore plus weekend is sure which is not up to the mark but still a decent box office collections.

The next week is so important for Drishyam because no big films will be coming, so it is a very well opportunity for Drishyam to surpass its operational cost which is around 40 crore. The life time collections of the film would be around 50-60 crore.

Bangistan Music Review

Bangistan is an upcoming Bollywood Movie directed by Karan Anshuman. It is a comedy satire kind of film produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The star cast of the film includes Ritesh Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Jacqueline Fernandez is also coming as a guest appearance. The film will be released on 7th of August 2015.

The music of the film is given by famous music director Ram Sampath, who earlier gave the hit music of films like Delhi Belly (2011) and Talaash (2012). Lyrics are written by Puneet Krishna. This time Ram Sampath composed this album differently away from his earlier ones. He has known for his intentional compositions but the tracks of this album is like typical bollywood numbers but not as good as expected from him, there are a total number of 7 tracks in the album and all are different from each other.

Ishq Karenge – Bangistan Music review

The first song of the album Ishq Karenge is a dance number sung by Sona Mahapatra, Shadab Faridi and Abhishek Nailwal. This ‘modern Qawwali’ type song has very good lyrics and this is the only track of the album which is gaining popularity day by day. But it lacks the quality.

Hogi kranti – Bangistan Music review

Hogi kranti is sung by Ram Sampath and Abhishek Nainwal. This song is inspired by the old patriotic song ‘Hum Honge Kaamyab’ and you will feel this is a satirical song against terrorism that hears funny, but again the quality composition is missing here. It might compose better than this.

Saturday Night – Bangistan Music review

Saturday Night is a mix of Indian and Russian composition sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Aditi Singh Sharma and Benny Dayal. This club number is full of energy and the singers put their full efforts but the song lacks the variations and n numbers of words have repeated which tests the patience of the listeners.

Maula – Bangistan Music review

This beautiful composed track tells the lesson of secularism and the lyrics of the song is brilliantly penned by Puneet Krishna. This is the best track among all the tracks comparatively on the basis of quality of lyrics.

Meri Zid – Bangistan Music review

Meri Zid is again sung by Ram Sampath and Siddharth Basrur. The song has the resemblance of Ram Sampath’s earlier popular track Bhaag Dk Bose.it has similar beats of Dk bose song. But the track is not as good as the Dk Bose Track and the use of drums is not as clear as expected. The  Ending of the song is also not upto the mark.

Is Dunia Se Ladna hai – Bangistan Music review

This track is sung by Suraj Jagan and Abhishek Nainwal. This song is more power packed than other tracks, but again the thing which lacks here is the quality. Also the duration of the song is short to 2 minutes 40 seconds and the listeners will not remember this track for a long time.

Overall the music of Bangistan is disappointing and not as expected by the ace music director Ram Sampath. This will definitely not remembered by the listeners as well as the composer. There is not even a single track which we call memorable track.

The music of the film is composed by Ajay-Atul and songs are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. ‘Brothers’ directed by Karan Malhotra and featuring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, is releasing on 14th of August. Let’s see the review of the film.

Mera Naam Mary

This is the item number of the film picturised on Kareena Kapoor Khan. The song was released about a month ago and from day one it gained the popularity and become integral part of parties. The song is sung by Chinmayi Sripada. The picturisation of the song is also very nice and the voice of Chinmayi perfectly suits on Kareena.

Brothers Anthem

Anthem songs are now part and parcel of every film’s music album. This is basically the theme song of the film. Vishal Dadlani gave his powerful and impactful voice to the song. As usual he again raises the standards of singing with his power packed vocals. This song is the life of the film that gives pace to the story.

Sapna Jahan

Sapna Jahan is an emotional number sung by Sonu Nigam in his soulful voice. The song is featuring on Akshay and Jacqueline. This song gives us the resemblance and similar emotions as in ‘Abhi Mujhme Kahin’ of Agneepath. Sonu Nigam’s magical voice will again touch your heart and you will love this track.

Gaye Jaa

3 days before the release of the film, Gaye Jaa is launched by the ‘Brothers’ team. Again this is the emotional track in the voice of none other than Shreya Ghoshal. The song depicts the past as well as the present of the relationship between two brothers (Akshay and Sidharth). Shreya Ghoshal once again proofs that she is a versatile singer who can sing any kind of song with ease

So, this is the music review of ‘Brothers’. The music composer duo of Ajay-Atul once again shows their range of compositions after giving the successful music of 2012 hit film Agneepath. The lyrics are well formed and the singers done a great job. The popularity of the music is directly related to the film’s success and there is no doubt that this film will probably be one of the successful films of the year.
